How to Adopt from Ken-Mar Rescue

Did you know that approximately 75% of "Death Row Dogs" are purebred?  And that 100% of them are equally gorgeous and deserving of a great home?

Have you found the dog you would like to adopt from our orphans page? It is so easy to adopt from us. We have placed hundreds of wonderful and loving dogs into all sorts of families; young and old, singles, couples and families with children. We are careful to ask the right questions so you feel comfortable knowing you are getting a great dog that will be a great match for you.

HOW TO ADOPT (2 Step Process)

Step 1: Please complete & submit the Adoption Questionnaire. Fill it out and submit it right online. If you have any problems, email us at:

Step 2: Upon review we will let you know if a "meet and greet" is in order. If so, we will schedule a time to bring the orphan to your home to meet you and the rest of your family (fur-kids included). If all goes well at the end of the "meet and greet" (approximately 1 hour), then the adoption is finalized.
